For immediate release:
Reno’s Serendipity! Antique Show becomes an Annual Event
June 11-13
will see the Serendipity! Antique Show returning to the Reno/Sparks Livestock
Events Center - Exhibit Hall, for what promises to be a fun weekend for both
collectors & dealers alike.
According to show
director Glen Movey “It’s all about the timing, with the uncertainty of the
weather on the dates we have had in the past, some dealers have been hesitant to
come to Reno. We decided to change the date, and picked June as the best time
for Serendipity to visit to Reno. Without the worry of having to fight a winter
snow storm along the way, we’ve been able to attract some great additional
dealers to this show. Our many collectors from Northern CA, Nevada and Oregon
will have a beautiful drive when they come to visit us.”
With dealers coming from
all over the Western U. S. bringing quality antiques and great collectibles it’s
easy to see why collectors from Northern Nevada and California look forward to
the show’s return. Movey said “It’s been pretty amazing, I’ve been getting
calls from Oregon, Washington and Northern California asking about the show,
they were all from collectors, several had seen the advertising and had planned
to visit Reno that weekend so they could take in the show and enjoy the many
recreational treasures that abound in Northern Nevada”.
Some of the dealers who
will be coming to this show in Reno for the first time will include: Joyce &
John Steinberg from Modesto, CA they have wonderful Art Glass and Victorian
Silver Pickle Castors and Brides Baskets. April Wertz has excellent Costume
Jewelry and Vintage Clothing plus her famous “Hide and Seek Jewelry Table”.
Maria Krane will be there count on her booth having some great vintage beaded
and mesh purses. David Evits booth, Blue Moon Antiques from Sutter Creek will
have a definite Western flair with Mining, Western and Advertising being the
main course. David Gordon from the San Diego area will be bringing a booth full
of Indian Pottery, look for Mata/Ortiz Pots. Sheri Jones and Lisa Newton will
be in their booth, Grouse & Badger, with a booth full of interesting small
items. Mary Millman from the Bay Area will have a booth full of wonderful
Country and Primitives just look for Eton Studio. With the customer’s favorite
dealers returning and an infusion of over 10 new dealers who will bring lots of
great antiques for those who attend to enjoy, it promises to be a great weekend
in Reno!
